Quiet and rural with a population of just under 1800, small-town charm is the way of life here. Downtown Godley still has that old town feel with some of original historic buildings still being used today. Godley is close to Fort Worth but has that small town feel. The original downtown buildings house local businesses from restaurants, salon services, pet care as well as City Hall and the local Fire station and Hardware store. The Feed Mill is still in operation around the corner from downtown.
Godley is a rapidly growing community with new schools and communities being built. Wildcat Ridge, Silo Mills, Coyote Crossing and MANY more. The High school is being expanded and new buildings are being added.
There are local eateries that host musicians on the weekend and you can enjoy a meal and the nightlife without having to drive to Ft. Worth
